H2S Emission and Microbial Community of Chicken Manure and Vegetable Waste in Anaerobic Digestion: A Comparative Study

In order to solve the problem of H2S corrosion in biogas utilization, it is necessary understand characteristics and mechanisms production chicken manure anaerobic digestion (CMAD) vegetable waste (VWAD). this study, lab-scale batch tests CMAD VWAD were conducted for 67 days at 35 °C. The results showed that sulfide was found be major form sulfur (accounting 90%) (70%). average concentration 198 ± 79 ppm 738 210 VWAD. Moreover, 81% total produced 20 methane CMAD, but 80% first day because rapid fermentation acidification. ion equilibrium model could universally feasibly predict abundance Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria Euryarchaeota accounted about 95% microbes both VWAD; influence stage on microbial community greater than difference between CM VW; SRB 0.01~0.07%, while concerning organosulfur compounds 22.8~30.5%.
